FUNDAMENTAL STAGE (U4-U8)
The FUNdamental Stage is focused on players 4 year olds through 7 year olds; pre-Kindergarten to 2nd grade. This stage features our KinderKicker U4-U6, MiniMaroons U7, and Maroons U8.
These programs are FUN-based and introduce our young players to the game of soccer through fun activities and simplified games. The KinderKicker U4-U6 and MiniMaroons U7 programs are open to ALL players of ALL abilities and allow children to develop their motor skills, develop an understanding and ability in soccer, build self-confidence, and ignite an interest in soccer as they look toward formally joining the Maroons Soccer Club with Maroons U8.
Maroons U8 sees the formalization of the Club, including a tryout process, player selection to teams of varying ability, training 2x week, and competitive league play. The program continues to be a FUN-based program and works to include as many players as possible and minimizing player cuts. Maroons U8 includes league matches of 8 players vs. 8 players on a smaller field.
