Flyer can be downloaded here: Mini Maroons Spring 2019
MiniMaroons U7 soccer program is an enhancement to the KinderKicker U4-U6 program that continues with a fun, simplified games-based program. Emphasis is on an “all-ball” approach that uses a range of activities and techniques to maximize a player’s touches and to build player confidence and ability to manipulate the ball during play.
Training emphasizes simplified games that foster skill development and imaginative, creative play. This FUN program helps increase player interest and builds a foundation for players thinking about participating in spring Mini Maroons U7 and trying out for travel club soccer in the spring.
MiniMaroons U7 soccer program continues to build from Winter MiniMaroons U7 and the
successful KinderKicker U4-U6 program. Focus continues with a fun, technical training and simplified games-based program. Emphasis is “ball dominant” to maximize touches that best build player confidence and ability. Simplified games foster technical skill development and imaginative, creative play. Aligned with Maroons Player Development, players develop comfort controlling & manipulating a ball.
Saturday scrimmages will use the proven small-sided format of 3 players vs. 3 players, building to 5v5. This format best allows players to develop their abilities and gain an understanding of the game. Players will learn rules of the game, and gain an understanding of attack and defense, “seeing” the field, and be introduced to a team environment. This FUN program helps increase player interest and builds a foundation for players thinking about trying out for Maroons Soccer Club.
