Maroons Soccer Club Join UC Sampdoria North American Academy
February 3, 2014 – UC Sampdoria of the Italian Serie A have agreed to a partnership with the New Jersey based soccer organization Maroons Soccer Club.
Maroons SC coaches and players will have the opportunity to work with the Academy coaches of UC Sampdoria in both North America and Italy, offering an insight into the player development program of one of the top Italian soccer academies. The partnership will provide players and coaches unparalleled access to a club renowned for producing Champions League players.
The partnership will see UC Sampdoria North American Academy hosting a series of Elite Player ID events with Maroons SC. UC Sampdoria will send Academy staff members over to work with Maroons SC players at these events. The best male and female players at these events will be invited to attend the UC Sampdoria National Camp. The National Camp will host the top players from each of our partner clubs in North America. From the National Camp, the top players will be invited to attend the Elite Player Tour at our Academy in Genoa, Italy.
Mike Cobb- Director of Player Development & Coaching: “The partnership with Sampdoria helps cultivate a deeper experience with the broader world of soccer for our club players. This partnership with a first division team will provide further ignition to inspire our players to greatness.”
Global Image Sports and UC Sampdoria are very impressed with Maroons SC, and are excited about a long and successful partnership.
